Sam Schoen is the founder of Blue Dasher Media. He spent more than three decades as a broadcast journalist. Schoen—whose on-air name was spelled Sam Shane—rose from his first job as a reporter at KDLH-TV in Duluth, MN to report and anchor the news in Sacramento, San Francisco, Seattle and MSNBC. Schoen received a B.A. in Journalism from the University of Minnesota where he played baseball for the Minnesota Gophers. Schoen has written and published two children’s books. He’s devoted much of his life to telling stories. Guiding individuals and organizations to deliver a clear and compelling message is his strength. Whether it’s writing and producing a video segment or serving as a media consultant and talent coach, Schoen’s objective is to always stay on message, cut through the clutter, connect with the audience and create a high-quality product that simply looks terrific.
